Last night Denny and I attended a panel discussion @ the National Center for the Preservation of Democracy in downtown Los Angeles. It was pretty amazing to hear how brands such as Fresh Jive, The Hundreds, and Hellz Bellz started. Each speaker spoke about topics that were relatable to striving entrepreneurs and did a Q & A segment afterwards. We couldn't help but laugh when we heard Bobby and Ben Hundreds say "We started out in our [bedrooms]," and "Everyone was saying 'No, you won't make it.'" Because that's where we are!
Rick Koltz, Fresh Jive, starts off the lecture.
When, Hellz Creative Director, Lanie took the stage and spoke about her upcoming I was all over it. I saw myself in her, from having the parents that don't approve of your school choices to having a creative mind that no one really understands, but yet doing what you want because it's what you believe in.
After the discussion, D and I were able to speak to Bobby and Lanie about DWB and they gave us great advice for what we can do as a team to further the brand.
Then… it was off to fill our growling tummies with spicy ramen. YUM!

Special #2!
After we left the National Center for the Preservation of Democracy in downtown Los Angeles [ The hundreds, Freshjive, and Hellz Bellz had a discussion panel], Steph and my tummy was growling for food. So we decided to go have some ramen at Orochon in Little Tokyo. I Love spicy food, and decided to finally try the infamous Special #2. Now the Special #2 is the spiciest ramen on the menu. It's been on the show "Man vs. Food". If you finish this ramen in 30 mins, you get your picture taken and have it placed on the wall with very few elites who have finished this monster. Did i wanna try to finish it and time myself?

"Land of the Kings"
"After showing you a “making-of” video several days ago, GLS is proud to present the new video for U-N-I’s single, “Land of the Kings.” Directed by Tomas Whitmore, the video takes us to a wilderness inhabited by the tribe of U-N-I, and its leaders Y-O and Thurzday. Shot in Malibu Creek State Park, the video is a big jump away from the equally wild landscape of urban Los Angeles, and makes for an impressive juxtaposition, soundtracked by U-N-I’s knockout beats and rhymes."
