A few weeks back, I stopped by the Three Apples Hello Kitty event. All you Hello Kitty fans should already know and most of you guys have been out there to check it out. I myself just became a fan when I was out in Tokyo, Japan. It's amazing how much of an Icon Hello Kitty has become.
Here's some of the artwork that I really enjoyed.

Kanye at it again!
Looks like the henny got Ye feeling a little too loose! If you guys watched the VMAs, then you know what a dick move he pulled when Taylor Swift won her first VMA. She should of beat him up in her XS white tee. For those who missed out, checkout the link. Didn't think Ye could pull another shitty move at any award shows. He drops dope music, but then as a person... he has some thinking to do.

Random Yums Yums in Tokyo
Food in Tokyo was amazing! I love food. Just a tad bit more expensive then then what we spend here. The portions are smaller also. What did suck was the drink size. One picture I will be missing here is our trip to the best ramen in Tokyo. If you showed up at the wrong time. Lines could get up to an hour wait.
These here are the best gyozas I've ever had! Was cooked perfectly. I also had a gyoza in a bun at Disney Sea.
Of course we had to try out Mc Donalds. This is called the Tamago burger. Two patties, Two slices of cheese, egg, and a black pepper sauce. We had to eat these burgers a few time. They were delicious.
This is called shaka shaka chicken. You had to throw some dry seasoning in and shake it.
Apple or cherry pie? No thanks! I'll take a bacon potato pie!
We had dinner at a Alice in Wonderland theme place. I ordered the risotto with bacon and mushrooms. They made it look like Cheshire.
For deserts, here is a cake that's suppose to rep Sasuke from Naruto.
Last but not least is waffles with ice cream. This was from a shop that just sold waffles.

Nuts?
One of the coolest things I've seen out in Tokyo, was these nuts. The nuts where everywhere in Tokyo. Paintings, toys, key chains, handkerchiefs, pens, pencils. You name it, they have it. I have no idea what they are called. Some are coffee beans, some are green beans. Most of them, i don't even know what they are, but they're pretty cool looking.
Which nut are you?

Tokyo!
Sup dweebers, just got back from my trip to Tokyo. It was my first time actually staying in Tokyo, and not just there for a connecting flight to Thailand. In one word to describe my trip, as Steph would ask, AWESOME! The people were always so polite. Everyone was always on the go. Streets always crowded. Trains never empty. The Fashion was ofcourse different. Guys in full Bape, Girls in full customs for Harajuku.
This is our first day in Tokyo. We stayed at the Hotel Sunroute. We got at the airport at 5:30 pm, and took us about another 2 hrs to get too the hotel. Traffic was pretty bad.
E happy to eat out first meal of the trip!
and YES! This was way better then Yoshinoya!
Post up more pics later.

The Skate Park Take Over
We hit up the Richie Valen and Pedlow Field Skate parks two weeks ago for a little promo. It turned out to be a really great day.
First, we held a mini skate competition at Richie Valen, Pacoima,Ca. The kids were all up for it. It's nice to see such enthusiastic kids skate. The game was S.K.A.T.E and the winner or winners walked away with Dweebs Without Brains shirt.
Next was Pedlow Field, a "helmets and padding required" park. We handed out some fliers and chatted it up with the locals. We'll definitely be hitting up more parks in the coming months. Stay tuned.
Because everyone loves Legos!

Yesterday, Swane and I went to our friends music vid shoot. The band "Glory" was shooting for there song "Hey Crystal". The concept looked pretty dope. I had to bail out early... Pay more, at Payless!
So I went to the topanga mall yesterday afternoon with e. We stopped by Payless to see if the Stpl x Payless colab was out. Then finally, I found them. These are now my FAV! pair of kicks. But I did have to shell out $50 bucks for these. No way did I ever think, I would spend that much money at Payless.

We started out...
Last night Denny and I attended a panel discussion @ the National Center for the Preservation of Democracy in downtown Los Angeles. It was pretty amazing to hear how brands such as Fresh Jive, The Hundreds, and Hellz Bellz started. Each speaker spoke about topics that were relatable to striving entrepreneurs and did a Q & A segment afterwards. We couldn't help but laugh when we heard Bobby and Ben Hundreds say "We started out in our [bedrooms]," and "Everyone was saying 'No, you won't make it.'" Because that's where we are!
Rick Koltz, Fresh Jive, starts off the lecture.
When, Hellz Creative Director, Lanie took the stage and spoke about her upcoming I was all over it. I saw myself in her, from having the parents that don't approve of your school choices to having a creative mind that no one really understands, but yet doing what you want because it's what you believe in.
After the discussion, D and I were able to speak to Bobby and Lanie about DWB and they gave us great advice for what we can do as a team to further the brand.
Then… it was off to fill our growling tummies with spicy ramen. YUM!

Special #2!
After we left the National Center for the Preservation of Democracy in downtown Los Angeles [ The hundreds, Freshjive, and Hellz Bellz had a discussion panel], Steph and my tummy was growling for food. So we decided to go have some ramen at Orochon in Little Tokyo. I Love spicy food, and decided to finally try the infamous Special #2. Now the Special #2 is the spiciest ramen on the menu. It's been on the show "Man vs. Food". If you finish this ramen in 30 mins, you get your picture taken and have it placed on the wall with very few elites who have finished this monster. Did i wanna try to finish it and time myself?

After:
What do you think? I barely put a dent in it...
Kitty wasn't impressed...
Pics from the Discussion panel from last night will be posted later.

"Land of the Kings"
"After showing you a “making-of” video several days ago, GLS is proud to present the new video for U-N-I’s single, “Land of the Kings.” Directed by Tomas Whitmore, the video takes us to a wilderness inhabited by the tribe of U-N-I, and its leaders Y-O and Thurzday. Shot in Malibu Creek State Park, the video is a big jump away from the equally wild landscape of urban Los Angeles, and makes for an impressive juxtaposition, soundtracked by U-N-I’s knockout beats and rhymes."
